CCS Custom Tuning

CCS tuning is custom-prepared for your truck using its VIN, factory operating system, modifications, tire size, and intended use.

Popular CCS tune profiles for the 2.8L LWN Duramax include:

• Modified Stock
• +25 HP Tow
• +45 HP Economy
• +75 HP Street
• +90 HP Performance

Exact tune names, horsepower levels, and the number of files supplied can vary according to the truck’s operating system and configuration. Every supported operating system will receive at least one compatible all-around calibration, and many trucks may receive additional power-level options.

Higher-output calibrations may require appropriate supporting modifications. Horsepower ratings are approximate and can vary based on vehicle condition, fuel quality, installed parts, elevation, and other factors.

EZ LYNK AutoAgent 3

The included EZ LYNK AutoAgent 3 connects to the truck through the OBD-II port and communicates wirelessly with the EZ LYNK mobile app.

The device allows you to:

• Receive and install compatible CCS tune files
• Monitor live vehicle data
• Read and clear diagnostic trouble codes
• Record and share data logs
• Communicate remotely with the tuning technician
• Reflash available tune profiles during your access period

Tuning Access Options

4-Week Access

The four-week access period begins when your vehicle is linked to the tuning technician.

During the four-week period, the supplied files remain available in your EZ LYNK cloud library. After the access period expires:

• The tune currently installed remains programmed in the truck
• The truck can continue operating on the installed tune
• The tuning files will no longer remain available in the cloud library
• Additional tune changes, revisions, reflashing, or recovery assistance will require a Lifetime Access upgrade

Lifetime Access

Lifetime Access provides continued access to the supplied tune profiles for the original supported VIN and EZ LYNK device relationship, subject to the applicable tuning-support terms.

Lifetime Access is recommended for customers who may need to change tune files, reflash after dealership service, make future modifications, or request eligible revisions.

Optional Transmission Tuning

Transmission tuning can be added where supported.

Transmission tuning is intended to complement the selected engine calibration and may include revised shift scheduling, shift timing, converter-lockup strategy, torque management, and transmission pressure commands.

3-Inch Turbo-Back Exhaust Options

The available 3-inch turbo-back exhaust replaces the restrictive factory aftertreatment exhaust assembly on a properly configured off-road vehicle.

Choose between:

• Aluminized steel
• 16-gauge T409 stainless steel
• No muffler
• Add-on straight-through muffler

The muffler option is recommended for customers who want to reduce exhaust volume and highway drone while retaining a less restrictive exhaust configuration.

EGR Delete Kit

Choose the EGR kit that matches your truck’s model year:

• 2016-style EGR kit
• 2017-and-newer EGR kit

The EGR kit includes the application-specific components required for the selected configuration. Verify the truck’s model year and modifications before ordering.

Optional S&B Cold-Air Intake

Add the available S&B cold-air intake for a complete intake, exhaust, and tuning package.

Optional DPF/DEF Electrical Plug Kit

The Premium Shibby Engineering plug kit caps unused factory electrical connectors that may remain after the applicable components are removed.

Choose between:

• Exhaust connectors only
• All applicable connectors under the truck

These application-specific caps help protect unused connector terminals from water, road salt, mud, dirt, and corrosion without cutting or splicing the factory harness.

Optional Exhaust Tip

Complete the exhaust with a compatible T409 stainless steel or black exhaust tip.

Available tip configurations include different inlet and outlet sizes. Select a tip with the correct inlet size for the 3-inch exhaust system.

A complete and accurate 17-digit VIN is required.

Important Flashing Instructions

Before flashing the truck:

1. Scan and record all existing diagnostic trouble codes.
2. Clear all emissions-related trouble codes.
3. Correct any known mechanical, electrical, communication, or battery-voltage problems.
4. Connect a stable battery charger to the truck.
5. Keep your phone or tablet close to the AutoAgent.
6. Keep the EZ LYNK app open throughout the flash.
7. Do not open doors, press the brake pedal, unplug the device, or interrupt power.
8. Follow every key-cycle prompt exactly.

Reset files cannot repair failed sensors, damaged wiring, improperly installed components, communication faults, or other unresolved physical problems. Some warnings may remain if the truck has an active mechanical or electrical fault.

Off-Road Use Only

This package is intended exclusively for closed-course competition, racing, or off-road vehicles that are not registered or operated on public roads.

The purchaser is responsible for confirming that every selected product is permitted under all applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws. Custom tuning is VIN-specific and cannot be transferred to another vehicle.
