The CP4 pump is one of the most well-known weak points on 2011–2025 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke trucks. When a CP4 fails, metal debris can contaminate the rest of the high-pressure fuel system and take out injectors, rails, lines, and even send contamination back toward the tank. This bypass kit is designed to help contain that damage by rerouting and filtering return-side fuel before debris spreads through the system.
Built around OE-style quick-connect plumbing, this style of kit avoids cutting the factory supply line and avoids compression fittings that can add leak points or introduce debris during installation. The updated Gen2-style layout also splits fuel supply farther away from the CP4 pump, helping isolate clean fuel from contaminated case fuel in a failure event.

Important Note
A CP4 disaster prevention kit is not a cure for CP4 pump failure. Its job is to help keep a pump failure from destroying the rest of the fuel system. If the pump does fail with this type of kit installed, the goal is to limit the damage and reduce how much of the system has to be replaced.
